Justin Pendleton concentrates a significant part of his practice defending hospitals, medical professionals, and long-term care facilities in a variety of litigation and transactional-based actions, including medical malpractice, assault, elder abuse, wrongful death, risk management, and credentialing disputes. He has successfully tried cases before judges and juries throughout Utah and has diligently represented clients toward innovative solutions through mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations. He has dealt with high-exposure cases involving media management and reputation rehabilitation.

Although a vigorous defense is often required, Justin strives to implement preventive solutions for his clients by conducting in-service programs, seminars, and roundtables. He has also spent considerable time seeking solutions for his clients through emerging technologies and providing corresponding services focused on federal and state regulatory law.

While defending against claims of medical negligence constitutes a significant part of Justin’s practice, he is also a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation and First Amendment and Religious Organizations practice groups, where he has worked on a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts.

Justin is particularly passionate about ensuring his clients understand the legal process and outlining a clear strategy that results in a successful outcome, whether that is at trial or otherwise. Justin’s clients look to him to provide creative solutions that maximize their goals while anticipating novel tactics.
