Jacob N. Matt
Jacob Matt is a member of the firm’s Litigation section. Prior to joining Kirton McConkie, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gregory Moeller of the Idaho Supreme Court. Jacob received his JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Idaho College of Law, where he graduated second overall in his class.
While in law school, Jacob gained experience working for the local prosecuting attorney’s office. He also served as a research assistant to Professor John Rumel, focusing on civil procedure and employment law. Additionally, Jacob worked in-house for a tech company, both during his third year of law school and after graduation.
Before attending law school, Jacob obtained his BA in philosophy, summa cum laude, at Boise State University, participating in the 3 + 3 law degree program. Outside of practicing law, Jacob is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and river rafting with his wife.
