Jacob A. Green

Jacob Green is a member of the firm’s Litigation section. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate disputes. He has been involved in all stages of title coverage work, from coverage determinations, statements under oath, and pre-litigation investigations through trial and appeal.

 

He has helped clients resolve a variety of title issues, including disputes over access, easements, boundaries, lien priority, construction defects, land use and zoning, fraudulent conveyances, and slander of title.

 

His successes include a favorable arbitral award on fraud claim against a developer/seller of realty, a nearly $2 million award through summary judgment on a breach of a real estate purchase contract, a favorable summary judgment award on a multimillion-dollar water rights dispute, and a seven-figure jury verdict on a slander of title counterclaim, having previously obtained dismissal of the underlying priority dispute.
