Michael C. Goodrich
Michael Goodrich is a member of the firm’s Corporate section, where he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and a broad range of business and corporate matters. He has significant experience guiding clients through complex transactions and also provides counsel on corporate governance, compliance, commercial contracting, and other day-to-day operational needs. Michael regularly works with companies at all stages of growth, from early-stage ventures to established enterprises, helping them navigate both strategic transactions and routine business matters.
Before joining Kirton McConkie, Michael practiced at Kirkland & Ellis in its Corporate/M&A group, where he represented leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in high-value transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and growth investments, as well as general corporate governance and advisory matters. This background gives him the ability to provide sophisticated transactional guidance to a wide range of clients.
Mr. Goodrich takes a business-minded approach to legal work, prioritizing efficiency, clear communication, and solutions that align legal strategy with business objectives. He is committed to delivering practical, results-oriented advice that helps clients achieve their goals with confidence.
